Based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy, this group supports individuals in building a life worth living through mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

    • Mindfulness
      Learn to be present in the moment, observe thoughts and feelings without judgment, and respond with awareness rather than reacting impulsively.

    • Distress Tolerance
      Build tools to survive emotional crises without making things worse. Focuses on acceptance skills and short-term strategies to manage intense emotions.

    • Emotion Regulation
      Understand and manage emotional experiences more effectively. Learn to reduce emotional vulnerability and increase positive emotional experiences.

    • Interpersonal Effectiveness
      Develop skills to ask for what you need, set boundaries, and maintain healthy relationships—while keeping self-respect and strengthening connections.

  • DBT Skills Group is helpful for individuals who:

    • Struggle with intense emotions or mood swings

    • Have difficulty managing anger, anxiety, or depression

    • Engage in impulsive or self-destructive behaviors

    • Experience frequent conflict in relationships

    • Feel overwhelmed by stress or crises

    • Want to build healthier coping skills and emotional resilience

    It’s especially effective for those seeking structure, support, and practical tools to create lasting change.

  • This group is for adolescents (18 and younger) and their parents.

  • I offer weekly DBT groups.

    These groups meet virtually via zoom and are paid for on a monthly basis.
